SOLANO COUNTY:

Description:  Solano County is a county located north of San Francisco.  As of the 2020 census, the population was 453,491. The county seat is Fairfield.

NAPA COUNTY:

Description:  Napa County is north of San Francisco and is known as a premier wine destination with world-class vineyards that boast more than 400 wineries and wine tasting rooms.  You can enjoy the beautiful landscape by traveling on the “Wine Train", a vintage locomotive and traveling restaurant running through the Valley.  There are hundreds of hillside vineyards in the Napa Valley wine region to visit.  Some of the very BEST dining experiences one can enjoy are in this region. In the City of Napa, the Oxbow Public Market features regional gourmet food.  Heading north are other Cities . . . Yountville, Oakville, St. Helena and Calistoga, which all have something wonderful to enjoy!  This entire area is known for All of the high-end restaurants and sparkling wine. Calistoga offers a great stop and is known for the Old Faithful Geyer and it's amazing Calistoga Spa and Hot Springs.

SONOMA COUNTY:

Description: Sonoma County is in Northern California. It's known for the Sonoma Valley wine region, as well as other notable winemaking areas such as the Dry Creek and Alexander valleys. The city of Sonoma is home to the 19th-century Mission San Francisco Solano and the central, colonial-era Sonoma Plaza. Near Glen Ellen, Jack London State Historic Park contains the gravesite and cottage of the American author, plus many trails.

FAIRFIELD

Fairfield is the county seat of Solano County, California, in the North Bay sub-region of the San Francisco Bay Area. It is known for the Jelly Belly Factory, Scandia Family Center, Travis Air Force Base and Anheuser-Busch.  Annual festivities include the Tomato and Vine Festival and The 4th of July Celebration.

VALLEJO

Vallejo was founded as the first state capital of California in1850 and is the home to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, a huge amusement park with high-speed roller coasters. The Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum explores the history of the city and the U.S. naval base at Mare Island. The ornate 1911 Empress Theatre hosts concerts and films.  Trail-lined Benicia State Recreation Area covers grassy hillsides and rugged beaches.

VACAVILLE

Vacaville is located approximately 35 miles from Sacramento and 55 miles from San Francisco, it is within the Sacramento Valley, but is also considered to be part of the San Francisco Bay Area. The city was founded in 1851 and is named after Juan Manuel Vaca.  It is the third largest city in Solano County and is rich in character. Today, Vacaville is a vibrant community in one of the fastest growing areas of the nation with great shopping.  It has become home to some of the largest and most successful life-science companies in the world, including Chiron, Genentech and Alza.  Its location makes it one of California's most attractive family communities.  Following the sinking of the Titanic in 1912, 10 lbs of Vacaville's prized cherries were sent to New York, which were auctioned off to support the shipwreck survivors.

SUISUN CITY

Suisun City is East of Fairfield. The population was 29,518 at the 2020 census. The city takes its name from the adjacent Suisun Bay, which in turn is named for the Suisun people, an indigenous Native American tribe of the area.

BENICIA

Benicia is a waterside city in Solano County.  It served as the capital of California for nearly thirteen months from 1853 to 1854. The population was 26,997 at the 2010 United States Census.

DIXON

Dixon is East of Vacaville off I-80, located 23 miles from the State Capital, Sacramento.  It has a hot summer mediterranean climate on the Köppen climate classification scale.  Its population was 18,988 at the 2020 census.

RIO VISTA

 Rio Vista is the largest American producer of Belgian Endive in the U.S. This is because Craig Breedlove (five-time world land speed record holder) lives and has an engineering facility in the city. Just like the other cities in the area, Rio Vista has camping, golfing, wineries, and plenty of beautiful views. The area has mostly a rural feeling and most residents here own their homes. Rio Vista is a good place for families since its schools are above average and it is one of the safer cities in the area. We’re also seeing a lot of growth in the city, with over a 30% population growth in just one year.
